Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
