History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adam grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
