History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed red hat.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a black tunic with white highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around his shoes. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Alexandre was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a deep hatred of illithids
