Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a green shirt, with a blue mid length shorts with blue tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His red hair is singed and shortened. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and revenge

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Nicholas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: Revenge.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Manfred was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Manfred decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. During his travels, Manfred and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Manfred discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Manfred fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
