Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light yellow in addition to tight pants. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He is an epitome of beauty. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sage born in the past three hundred years. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Anthony was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
