History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and further expansion of business

His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Merchant soon after.

He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
