History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hubert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
