He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Adelard was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Scribe. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Description: An older man who wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by his family
