He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has brown eyes and a blue hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: Nicholas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
