Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
