History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bellfounder who has hired him part-time. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He is a Lycanthrope in disguise. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He wears his white hair down. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He got into the Spy business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently the stress of being a Spy has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
