Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

He wears a yellow coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has decided he is irredeemable

He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Arnold was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Richard was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sailor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a sailor and was forced into it by his family
