History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shane's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and revenge

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job
