History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Diggory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is greedy

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
