History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theobald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theobald. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the west. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
