Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
