Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his morningstar. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Justin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Justin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Butcher. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing yellow cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adam embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Adam is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
