He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and expand his business
