History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bernard's homeland. Bernard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He got into the Masseuse business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.
