Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in kukri use. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away
