His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Chad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Cory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
