Description: This late middle aged man wears violet robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe and is in decent physical shape. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
