History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by giants. After coming to the age of reason, Kyle took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Miner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.
