Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Bernard was taken on many hunting expeditions. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Masseuse but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was taken from his home at a very young age. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.
