History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his father struggled to pay the bills. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Nicholas's homeland. Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Hugh was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Bertram was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bertram decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Dustin learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new gardener responsibilities is difficult
