History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the west to a Shipwright, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Personality: Ralf is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cook. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has worked as a Cook like his father before him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
