Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His black hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theobald isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theobald grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is dressed in an above average manner. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dean studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his flail, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. He has no hair. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears a white vest and prefers grey and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a hunchback. He has a very tight haircut. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
