History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Clerebold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Stylist like his father before him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the west to a Blacksmith, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break

His hair is long and golden with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has a very tight haircut. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Heward embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Heward was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was a Sage, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of illithids
