History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
