History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He is a Hag in disguise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has decided he is irredeemable
