History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
