Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure

Description: This man wears a yellow collared shirt and red pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
