He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Balimaar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
