History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
