Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered red stockings. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a green vest and prefers brown and red shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has money and likes to spend it
