Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a mason again

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is auburn and curly. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Voice: Irish accent

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a dagger on his belt. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a black shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and blue pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his black hair up. He is baby faced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
