History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Frederick grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.
