History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. During his travels, Tim and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Tim discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Tim fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
