Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Raymond embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raymond lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Cory wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cory was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Navigator. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a violet coat. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
