Kyle Stapleton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kyle is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Kyle was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kyle was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he would like to get married and retire

Justin Easton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who is renowned for his bright white suits and hats, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is short and silver. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Justin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Hugh Branson, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a shield on his belt. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly shields and swords. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has money and likes to spend it
