History: Born to a Laborer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Conrad took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balimaar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Baker and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
