History: Henry was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd mother left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fletcher, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Butcher but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
