He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
