Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Gerard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After months of barely getting by, Bernard managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
