Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Richard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His childhood dream was to be a Banker, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Spice Merchant like his father before him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and further expansion of business
