Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Aldous took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
