History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Alexandre was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Alexandre and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and doesn't want to be a animal trainer and was forced into it by his family

Description: This man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his glaive with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and carries glaives. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to be a guard again
