History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He has violet eyes and a blue hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Percival has worked very hard to control his curse. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
