History: Born in the north to a Guard, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant.
