History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Roofer for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
